Just to update you guys on what happened the last few days:

  • Auditioned for NIGHTWATCH --- received role of DR. LAKE   ...YAY!! So happy I was able to make the cast.  I honestly thought that I wouldn't despite the MEGA assurances from my fellow friends and people who also tried out who saw me out there.  The whole audtioning was soo GRUESOME, I mean, HARDCORE.  Even the director told us that this casting was very, very difficult. PHEW!! The tribulations are over.... for now..  ::scary music::  Tehehehehe!
  • keep bugg'n and reminding MRS. CHADWICK, the theatre teacher, that I want to take up the role as assistant director for our school musical, WIZARD OF OZ.  And it's working!! YAY!!!
  • received LAPTOP for Christmas/Birthday present!! ....YAY!!!, duh.   It's an E-MACHINE, model M5405; this model came out last month
  • donated playstation(1) / games to my dear friend/adopt-a-family in the theatre
  • most turnouts from LIBERTY's Key Club at the DCM
  • most turnouts from LIBERTY's Key Club at the DP DAY CAROLING .... A very treasured experience, we met this really nice lady in her 80's whose nickname is FRANKIE. She is so awesome!! YAY!!!
  • Holiday Magic--- our key club volunteered from 4-10pm and had a mega blast. We had free ticket meal, had fun with the little children, met "prestigious people"-- founders of the event, boss of a TALENT AGENCY, etc, received autograph from an awesome singer who performed there last night, saw ice skater performers, went to ride on the carousel, and lots more!! I honestly think this event was the most enjoyable ommunity service event for our LIBETY'S PANDA CLUB for the fact that helping out at the booths and other areas while having free time to have fun w/ the free admission that came along with it, we contributed to the CANDLELIGHTERS -- organization to help out the cancerous children and we also helped out other organizations that help fight for children's illnesses.  You see, this whole event, HOLIDAY MAGIC, is to raise money for these organizations, especially, CANDLELIGHTERS. Yay!  O my, there is so much to tell that I can't possibly explain in words.
  •   Also, some of our Pandas met the parents of Alex Scott. She is this girl who was battling neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer, and raised  money for the other children in need like her through lemonade stands.   Sounds familiar?Well, she appeared on OPRAH and with her help, Alex was able to raise around $1.5 million to aid against childhood cancer. Unfortunately, Alex couldn't make it to the event because she didn't make it..... May loving shout outs go out to her.  And you know what, Alex and her family made a children's book and they were being sold at this lemonade  booth at HOLIDAY MAGIC, our key clubbers also helped out that booth.  In the end, LIBERTY'S KEY CLUB was donated this book, ALEX AND THE AMAZING LEMONADE STAND. And you know what, this book is so treasured by the Japanese, that they even made the JAPANESE version of it.  Why?  Well, since child who died at a very young age, the JAPANESE look at it as SACRED.  I truly believe this because one of the founders of HOLIDAY MAGIC told me all about Alex Scott, her family, the organizations, and this book.  SO!! Hopefully, LIBERTY'S KEY CLUB can somehow contribute to this organization, ALEX'S LEMONADE.
